Random bits of life

First off, this picture makes me happy. We've been having some rainy, foggy weather recently and I just love it! This was the view from our apartment the other morning, and it was just so neat. Normally we can see at least 5 miles out, but clearly, not on this morning. I am really going to miss this view. We are moving in just a few weeks, so I'm trying to soak in this view as much as I can before then.

Life has been kind of crazy recently, but I don't feel like I have a ton of stuff to write about. Of course Boston keeps me on my toes, and is just as adorable as ever. I still can't believe he's one. It just doesn't seem like it can have really already been that long.

I took the above picture when Boston was playing peek-a-boo with us one night (instead of going to bed, the little stinker). He was pulling the blanket up over his head and then would pull it back down really quickly.

He has finally figured out how to get off the couch the right way. He has always tried to just go head first, but just the other day, he started turning himself around and going off feet first. We're proud of him :)

I love this next picture. I went in to get him in the morning on Friday, and this was how I found him:

Haha. I love his hair. It just cracks me up.

He really is just growing so fast. He has learned how to say "night, night" and says it really, really loud. It sounds like "Naa Naa" and he almost screams it. I love it. He hasn't quite figured out what it means to go night, night... But he is getting much better. He has finally started sleeping a little better through the night, and that has helped me to feel so much better.

He is so curious and it has a tendency to get him in trouble. He doesn't tend to listen to us when we tell him no... We'll have to work on it :) (something tells me that gets much worse before it gets better.)

He has finally grown some hair! And I love styling it as a little fauxhawk. I've had so many comments from people who say they love his haircut...but we've never even cut his hair - it's just finally grown in a little. He's a cutie :)
All in all, life is good. We are moving to another apartment at the end of this month so most of the apartment is in boxes. We are excited about our new place. It's just a couple miles away from where we currently are, but it is a nice little area. Although it's a bummer to move and then move again in just another year, it'll be a good thing. We are just loving life and enjoying being a family.
